Hello Friends!
Season is in full swing here at Lovers Key Resort. We are actually enjoying some of our normal warm weather after having a bit of an unusual cold spell in January. Of course, nothing compared to what our northern friends experience most of the winter.
In this issue of our newsletter, we have a few attraction suggestions and a March event that has been a tradition on Ft. Myers Beach for many years.
The Naples Botanical Gardens, a new attraction in south Naples, opened in November. Currently, they have 4 different themed garden walks from a Brazilian Garden to a Caribbean Garden. Coming soon will be an Asian Garden and Floridian Garden. You will view the gorgeous photos and learn more about their incredible floral display of exotic plants.
The Everglades is one of our largest natural attractions in the state of Florida. A great way to view the different eco-systems of the Everglades is by taking an adventure trip on one of several airboat outfitters in the area. It is truly a unique and thrilling experience. See more about the Everglades Airboat Tours in this issue of our newsletter.
March is a time where the residents on Ft. Myers Beach celebrate our Shrimp Fleet, an industry that greatly impacts our local economy. The Lions Club of Ft. Myers Beach is celebrating its 52nd Annual Shrimp Festival the weekend of March 13th and 14th with a Saturday morning parade and a Shrimp Boil like no other.
With all the frigid cold weather and snow, why not spend some warm days here at Lovers Key Resort. We have incredible savings when you stay 7 or more nights. There are still March dates available so pack your bags and head to Lovers Key Resort in warm sunny Southwest Florida, your home-away-from-home.
Best Regards!
